Dunrobin Castle was built around 1275 AD

 
This impressive castle is the most northerly of Scotland’s great houses, and also the grandest, having 189 rooms

A vast array of collections make for an interesting visit as you can browse through the bedrooms, nurseries, studies and public rooms at your own pace

A walk through the beautiful gardens

Then to be treated to one of the very best Falconry displays in the UK given by the Castle Falconer
"Andy Hughes" 

Dunrobin Castle was used for the Film location for Rosamunde Pilcher's novel

"Winter Solstice"

 And in "2005" the film crew were back shooting the sequel

"Summer Solstice"

Loch Fleet
Occupying a stunning coastal location where the river Oykel flows through a silted tidal basin.
Common seals are regularly seen out on the sandbars at low tide

You can enjoy great views of wildfowl and waders. Sand dunes and coastal heath land rich in wild flowers
